Hymenoplasty
Hymenoplasty is a surgical procedure performed to restore virginity.

It is performed by suturing the remnants of the hymen. The hymen is a fold of mucous membrane with an opening. It covers the entrance to the vagina. Typically (but not always), the hymen is ruptured during the first sexual intercourse (a process called defloration). Hymen rupture can also occur due to physical exertion or injury.

This surgery restores the integrity of the hymen, but it only provides a temporary effect, as the stitches dissolve within a few days. This leaves no trace of the surgery. This procedure is performed for a variety of reasons, including moral principles and religious beliefs. In any case, it's important to seek experienced specialists for the procedure, who will perform it quickly and efficiently, minimizing the risk of postoperative complications and shortening the recovery period.

Hymenoplasty Techniques, Their Features and Differences
Two types of procedures are currently performed:

Short-term hymenoplasty
The hymen is preserved for up to two weeks. This procedure is considered minimally invasive and is characterized by minimal blood loss, rapid recovery, and the absence of discomfort, pain, and significant swelling.

Long-term hymenoplasty
This procedure ensures long-term preservation of the hymen (until its integrity is compromised during sexual intercourse). The technique is based on reconstructing the hymen from epithelial tissue. Its advantages include a natural-looking result and long-term preservation of the hymen. This technique is not without its drawbacks. Recovery from the procedure takes 7 days due to significant trauma to the vaginal tissue. After the surgery, the woman experiences discomfort and pain, and swelling may occur.
Important! Any procedure can be performed multiple times.
